I'm an Ambassador!

I am really excited as I have been accepted as one of 24 Official Ambassadors for the "Unlock The Past" Researching Abroad Roadshow.

You can learn a little more about the roadshow by watching this short video (2 mins):

As well as local speakers, there are two excellent international speakers presenting, Chris Paton, who will be talking about Scottish and Irish research, and British topics. I am thrilled that I am going to be hearing in person from Chris. Listen to his overview here (1 min):

The other speaker is Dirk Weissleder, who will be speaking about European research topics. Listen to his overview here (<1min):

My research areas are Scotland, England and Germany, so this roadshow is perfect for me. It could well be coming to an area near you too, as it is running in Brisbane, Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth.

I'll be attending the Brisbane days, so look forward to meeting up again with all my genealogy friends, as well as learning lots of new techniques and information.

* I get free entry to these sessions for being an Ambassador
